How verification works

ServeStamp helps students keep a volunteer record backed by the adults who supervised their work.

The student logs. The organizer confirms.

A student records the organization, date, hours and work they did. They share a secure sign-off link with the organizer. The organizer needs no account: they review the details, enter their name and role, and confirm or dispute the session.

A stamp is more than self-reporting

Only organizer-confirmed sessions count toward verified hours. Pending and disputed sessions remain separate. Confirmed sessions include the signer's name and role and the sign-off date; students cannot edit them afterward.

One-time links, locked records

Sign-off links work once and expire after 30 days. Editing an unverified session creates a fresh link. Students can delete sessions, but cannot give themselves a verified stamp.

For parents and counselors

Students can share a read-only verified record or download a printable PDF. An organizer's sign-off supports credibility, but does not independently establish identity, nonprofit eligibility or compliance with every school's rules. Counselors make the final decision about which activities count.
